Teen Shoots, Kills Himself Near Railroad Tracks In York County

A teen shot and killed himself near the railroad tracks in East Manchester Township on Tuesday.

The York County Coroner's office was dispatched to the area of Gut and Wago roads at 8:39 a.m. for a report of a deceased male near the railroad tracks.

Two deputy coroners responded and determine the teenage boy died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the abdomen.

The time of death was 9:23 a.m.

There will be no autopsy.
